WHERE FOUNDATIONAL EDUCATION
Meets Creativity & Play
We opened our doors to the Middletown community in 2014. In 2021, we proudly opened our second location in New Market. Both facilities provide educational programs to children at all stages of development beginning at 6 weeks to 13 years of age.

We focus on the four learning domains: social-emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development through a play-based curriculum. Our creative MSDE program is our foundational tool used in each classroom. Our degreed teachers develop individualized plans for learning so each child gets an educational experience that fits their specific developmental needs and learning style.

We believe in a safe, fun, and hands-on environment which is why our classrooms are media free. Our experienced teachers engage their students through interactive lessons. We also guide your child through activities that strengthen their motor skills through finger plays, sensory activities, dance, and even exercise games. In addition, your child will participate in activities designed to help them understand trust, empathy, and a sense of right and wrong through choices and positive reflection.
Our school uses the Brightwheel app to manage attendance, billing, enrollment, parent communication, and important notifications like school closures all in one easy to use place.

The app ensures private communication is constant between school and home, and you’ll love the daily picture, video, or message updates from your child’s teacher. We look forward to giving your child the best experience at The Valley School.
Our Teachers
Our teachers and staff are the heart and soul of our program – bringing our curriculum to life, forming authentic caring relationships with our children, and spending quality time supervising and educating our students.

As such, their value cannot be overemphasized. We seek experienced, degreed Lead Teachers who have selected early childhood education as their career choice. They are assisted by Assistant Teachers and Aides who help execute the lesson plans, maintain supervision, and interact closely with our children.
We encourage and provide opportunities for all our staff to receive continuing education and training to ensure they are providing the highest quality care at all times.
